From May 20th to May 24th the 4a and 4k joined by their teachers, spent a glorious time in Italy, Lignano. It was our last common journey and because of this it was a special and memorable experience.
Although the weather wasn’t very good in the first days, it was quite windy and cool, some brave kids dared to do some sports in the sea, like stand up paddling or canoeing. At the beach the teenagers played volleyball, soccer, beach tennis or rugby and the girls were having fun with HIP HOP, Street dance and Zumba. All the sport instructors spoke English and in additional English lessons the kids had a lot of possibilities to improve their knowledge.
On Thursday it was sunny and warm, the perfect weather for the boat trip to the beautiful city of Grado. There we got a short but informative guided tour through the old historical city.
The ultimative highlight was the disco party located in a spectacular ambience on a peer in the sea.
On the way home we visited the ancient Roman city of Palmanova and enjoyed a delicious pizza in a traditional Italian restaurant.
This unforgettable amazing week will stay in our memories forever.
